By now, you've probably realized that the valve you're looking for is pretty much non-existant, HOWEVER, the work around is for you to purchase an entire 7/8UNF manifold and then plug the left hand valve. I have several of these ( none for sale. ) These manifolds are not as common as the typical Dive Rite, Thermo and others, but you see them on the forum now and then. Check e-bay as well.

Is it possible to get the plugs? I know some 3/4 manifolds have plugs that are hard to get.

the only ones that can't be plugged are the Sherwood manifolds because the design doesn't allow for it

    they look like that

The other ones that are fairly common are the OMS manifolds that look like this

the caps for these manifolds are VERY hard to come by and are very expensive if you can find them, but they are the same as the 3/4" manifolds.

These are unfortunately two of the more common 7/8" valves, and the other brands that are easily plugged are very difficult to find. With sidemount as popular as it is, I'm with Brent, you have to find a set of doubles or even just the manifold for these tanks and then plug them because I don't know anyone *myself included* that has valves for the HP PST tanks that will get rid of them

Remember those plugs I got for you last year? I've still got a bucket full of them!

Yes, but they were for a 3/4" manifold I assume the 7/8" take the same plugs.

The manifolds that Dive Rite sold, back in the day, take the same plug as the 3/4 SAE manifolds. Not sure about the "other" manufactures.

Thanks for all the info! I do have a manifold. I'll check and see what brand.
