    Default Shipping a DPV advice

I've never shipped a scooter and going to ship mine off tomorrow. It is packaged VERY VERY well and I sure hope they don't ask me to open the packaging cause it took forever to box it up. I am shipping it in 2 seperate boxes, the motor/charger in one and the battery/hull in the other. I would really like to use USPS but not too sure if they're gonna accept it with it being such a big lithium battery. It's a 40ahr LiFe battery and the package weighs about 60lbs. I would rather be honest about it and not try to get away with telling them it's NiMH. That would cause a problem if it's damaged during shipment and insurance comes into play. Any advice on the best way to ship the battery is greatly appreciated!

Have a chat to Tobin George.
He ships lots of Litho Batteries, and knows all the traps.

I just shipped a scooter, they didn't even ask about batteries. I was kind of surprised.
