    Dove JB 5/20-22
Flow was medium, you could swim there if you know your way around without too much trouble.
The vis wasn't great. Pretty hazy and some particulates (worst on Friday and improved over the weekend). Went on mainline back to 4000', middle grounds, and all was milky.

Ps - there was a 'running of the minnows' happening. I've never seen anything like it, there were thousands of silver minnow about 1" swimming into the cave. Most were clustered between 220' and 600' into the cave, all trying to swim upstream like salmon.
Anyone know what they were doing? There were so many, they couldn't have been following divers' lights into the cave...

they were there last week as well, pretty cool actually. I have seen them there in years past, never quite as many as this year, I "think" they go in to get big enough to venture out into the world, I also think it's why we saw the 4ft carp there a few weeks ago alive bac at the T and then reports it was found dead the following week (last week) further back in the cave... or Neto clipped it off and forgot to feed it ( )...something happened it died.

I saw a huge carp at the entrance yesterday. It was all mangled. Tail was torn up back was lopsided, it has obviously lived a long and painful life

Still there today. A journey man of a carp. Watching it made the deco less tedious.

That was a grass carp, so it is unlikely he was following his dinner in.

Thanks Forest! It's been a good couple years for me and diving

I saw you the last time I was at JB, and this time met a different Forest there. Do you coordinate so there's always a Forest standing guard at the entrance?
