    Default McIntyre Springs in Georgia

    If anyone is interested I've updated my Cave Diving History blog with information about the exploration of McIntyre Spring which is on the Withlacoochee River in Georgia. You can find the article here:

    Yes Kelly, I was on that dive with you and Paul as well as Gordon and Susan Rehyer. Five of us in the cave sure lit it up.

    Very cool to read. Being new to cave diving, it's eye opening to read how much patience goes into first exploring caves. An outsider would think you simply see a hole, bring a big spool and go until you either run out of air or run out of cave. Seeing how many ventures it takes, a little bit more each time, sometimes nothing at all, makes it that much more rewarding in the end. I see myself as the diver that goes into the terminal room and spends countless hours looking for the connecting passage. What a cool read. Thanks for sharing.
