It's the same type of effect that Crystal Beach experiences, however the location is what determines the timing and magnitude of it. The flows at both springs do change as soon as the tidal change reaches them.
There is a delay for Manatee as it is located 25 River miles inland. There is a whole lot of water in that distance that has to shift before the tide change reaches all the way up to Manatee. Crystal Beach however is affected much quicker since it's right there in the gulf.
