High Springs - Accommodation query

Hello,

I'm planning 10 days in High Springs for my courses through to full cave. The timing is such that it looks like I'll be arriving at Easter, April 14...oh well.

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay - safe, easy drive to the springs, walking distance to restaurant and shops etc?

Any advise and pointers are welcome.

This is a clean, basic motel that caters to divers. Maybe 15 min. to Ginnie Springs. Directly across street from Floyds Diner, which has good food. I think they give a discount to student divers - you may want to ask. Regards.

If you move out of town, then the next closest is Ft. White, where the places listed are next to nothing, but just as close (or closer) to Ginnie.

I'll second that. You cannot beat the hospitality, fellowship, and sometimes great cookouts and meals.

I hope you enjoy your stay with them, they are truly great people to be around and Dee is a fabulous cook. With any luck you will probably get to meet John L while your there, he's not such a bad guy himself.
