Just got a report from Orange. Today it was clear to the Distance Tunnel. Paul said the water is rising rapidly. No guarantee that Orange will be good tomorrow.

Coming to Florida for cave diving next week, planning for Ginnie and Manatee now, maybe go up to Marianna for Jackson Blue. Any other suggestions for sites that will still be ok. Is there more in the Marianna area that would be a good option. I am intro level, buddy is full.

Jug hole. It isn't a long dive, but very nice for sidemount divers. Call Hart springs 352-463-3444, it was flowing so strong that it might still be open. You need at least 50 cave dives to be allowed in.

Jon/Kristi dove it on Wednesday ish with very low flow.
With river rising 1.5' since id consider it blown...

A call to the park wouldn't hurt to confirm

Another area that isn't effected by the flooding is Jackson Blue, Twin and Hole in the Wall.

The river gauge near Bell is still rising, so wonder how long Hart springs would hold out.

Thought so. Even though it has a long spring run and high flow,it reverses quickly.
