I was told that these are actually LP 109s, made by OMS with a heavier bottom to prevent it from getting lighter like the Fabers. I was also told that they would be great for trimix due to lighter nature of trimix mixes.
Copy and paste that claim cause now I'm curious in what way they differ from 108s. Which are listed at -1 buoyancy empty.
I love a mystery....and I am no tank expert. Hell, I'm not even a diver. Currently. Soon. Maybe.

These are 109's. OMS had these made about 5 years ago. They have heavy bottoms so they don't ride up in the butt like 108's. I had a set but couldn't trim them out. I sold mine to Andy Pitkin last February so I am sure he could say how they work with high He mixes. I am guessing for mix they would be great but I never tried it. I looked at the OMS website but since DUI has taken over they no longer have tanks listed. I am sure someone who knows more about technology than I do could pull up.an archived page with the specs.
