I don't know of a single person who uses a "BC" with doubles. People used to use TransPacs with doubles, but I haven't seen it in awhile.

I know at least 5 underwater caves in FL where climbing rope and ascenders are must have gear.
The biner on a pic looks like firefighter gear perhaps? It works well also for pulling stuck vehicle in woods.
