and nakatomi - you are required to carry that cert with you thats what im talkign about. ALL UWLD lights are cert'd for air travel.
I've found that the wording in a lot of the posts has left room for interpretation, so I finally asked Bobby outright if I should worry about my gen 4 light. He said that strictly speaking, I should upgrade to the gen 5 if I want to be sure that there will be no trouble. My understanding is that while all UWLD lights meet the lithium quantity requirements, only the gen 5 meet the new requirement of having been tested by whatever agency is doing this. So, technically, only the 5th gen lights are totally safe from the TSA demons, but realistically we're probably all ok...
