    Default Wetsuit and hood wanted

Hi guys, I'm in need of a wetsuit used or new and a hood for diving this winter. Florida is experiencing some extremely cold temperatures right now. Some cities have reported temps below 70 degrees at night. I'm thinking a 5mm or 7mm. Size matters so I've heard. I'd like it to fit well so if you have a similar build and it worked for you it should work for me. I'm 5'10'' 170lbs.

Go with a custom suit. I just had one made from Otter Bay in Monterey you can do your own measurements. Great company. Been around a long time.

I think you are just a sissy and should probably stop diving if you can't handle a little cold water, Paùl.

    70 degree water! Luxury!

Round here we regularly have to dive about 43 degree water in a wetsuit cos the caves too tight for a drysuit!

Think Id be diving 70 degrees in the nude!

Seriously though, 5mm should be plenty for this kind of temperatures. Maybe a 3mm if you're a warm person.

I have a 5m wetsuit and a hood. The wetsuit is an Oceanic and in excellent condition. I dive a dry suit year round. I will be at DEMA in Orlando from the 4th thru the 7th. If interested send me a PM. I am 5ft 11 and weigh 166 lbs. It should fit you very well.

I used to dive quite a bit in the PNW. Dive all sorts of places from Oregon up to Alaska. I hear you on the cold water. Similar temps.

When I moved to Florida, I sold all my drysuits because why would I ever need them in FL?

Amazing how the body adjusts. Been through three different dry suits now.

PS Haven't heard "Luxury!" used that way since Monty Python... Love it.
