Reel found in Eagles Nest

Was in Eagles Nest yesterday and found a reel near the 1000 foot market on the mainline in the downstream tunnel. Looks like it has been there a while (line was rotted), if your the owner message me and I will drop it in the mail for you.

I doubt it is the same one, but I lost a LM 1200' reel in the Nest, should say Vinzant on it.

We lost a Halcyon Defender 200 reel, compact size, in Feb. Probably not it as it was most likely dropped somewhere in the debris cone area back to the steps.

Yeah I don't think it is either of those reels. This in is grey in color and how I found it makes me believe it was used in a lost line emergency (line tied to a rock, running around things etc...).

I am assuming whoever used it was successful as I didn't find a body and the reel was inches from the line. I will post pics later to see if anyone recognizes it, if not I will send it to cave excursions little history display
