TDI HOG Regulator Repair Class

Ladies, gentlemen, and cave divers,

I've received several requests over the last few months for a Mann Overboard HOG Regulator Repair Class where you can learn in a structured way to service your own regulators, how regulators work, and meet other cave divers (this is not a threat, it's a promise!)

The class is $250 per person and will include your certification card. It is typically a 1-day class and often includes some additional field equipment repair tips (sometimes on the day 2 for those that want to stick around.)

We are considering the High Springs area. If you have interest, kindly post here or send me a message on steve at mannoverboard.net including some time frame preference. In order to plan, I'm thinking early October?

There's a few of us in Austin who want to take it if you are ever in Texas. I've managed to rebuild a few (D1 and BP2) but would love true up and fill in the gaps I might have.

I could probably arrange something in Texas fairly easily. I can also check and see if we already have an instructor there. If we were to come there, we would have to come up with a minimum number but I think we can work it out.

Adler, great. Do you have any preference on dates? I've had two or three people asked for the first weekend in October if possible… it also happens to work well with my travel.

guys it is looking like 2nd weekend in October seems to be working for folks. I need to have 6 (I've had about 10 asking about it.) The dates I believe are Oct 10 and 11. How does it sound? Location TBD. Info to follow once date is confirmed.

The MoB and Cave Country Dive Shop will also provide Underwater Light Dude demo lights for anyone who wants to try one out.

October 10, 2015. Venue is being finalized. I will very soon post the information including preprequisites, tools, etc.

It is a 1-day class though it's a fairly long day (plan 8-10 hours, depending on # of attendees.) I have 7 currently expressing interest. You are registered once paid.
You can dive at night or on Sunday.

Mann Overboard will have available Edge-HOG lights, regulators, sidemount rig, maybe some fins, and other items for demo. There will be some minor gear/valve field repair demos done.
Mann Overboard will also bring in a couple Underwater Light Dude Lights for rental.

all we're having trouble with dates and we've unconfirmed the confirmed date as peoples' schedules are changing. We're looking at a possibility of September 26 or September 27. All of the rest applies. It will likely be in Lake City, Florida, in a nice air conditioned space, brought to you by Mann Overboard (the air conditioning, that is .)

We will conduct the class in an air conditioned hotel conference room.
