I'm planning on Thurs, and will head down there Weds. night. Lets go diving!

I'm meeting MichaelAngelo at RD Wednesday afternoon. I think hes doing a deep dive so I am planning on staying above the 150ft level. Love to dive with ya!
Anyone know of any good camping grounds in the Waynesville area? Trying to save some money by camping out Wednesday and Thursday night.

Well, I will try to get there in afternoon if you guys will be there. Above 150 works for me.
Don't want to camp. I will book motel, but get a double in case anybody wants to share.

If memory serves correct, 3.5-4k back 180-200' depth.

I think most folks call the loop in Roubidoux (RB, RBD, or the Roub) a tour of the top of the first drop-off area and the adjacent upper tunnel. This can be done without deco and only extends about 400 feet back. Any further penetration and you are at 140 foot of depth in the lower tunnel. The loop can be a nice 45-60 min swim in reasonable flow conditions. The lower tunnel is pretty much a trimix dive for me. The 3.5-4k estimate would put you at the "picnic loop". That's a little bit more of a swim. Might not want to try that without getting a little familiar with the cave. Best,t

Tom knows best. The Picnic Loop is a two scooter, 4 stage dive (minimum) on OC for myself. And yes, a lot of deco. You'll dip below 200' a couple of times.

I think most people that speak of the Loop refer to the Tour that Tom points out.
