Finishing up my last day in Caye Caulker after 5 days of cave diving Giant Cave in Belize.
If you have ever thought about diving this cave you need too...
If you have not thought about going here's a subtle hint;

Paul was understating the size of this cave when he discovered/named it. Currently it's a marine cave but before that it was dry for a long long time (scientific term) with huge stalagmites and tites and columns everywhere. Did I say it was big? Pictures fail to do it justice (unless you see one of Mark Long's photos or Becky Kagan video)
Chip and the crew at Belize Diving Services did a fantastic job of providing all the essentials.. I dived a Mexico rig with Aluminum's and a stage. Deco bottles, Steel tanks, etc all on hand. Fills were always over 3000 psi (Aln's) and percentages spot on. Oxygen also on hand as a deco gas with most of the cave at 93' or so with a one spot at 105' (near the entrance) and with a deep section at 150'. Helium also available.
Planning another trip Feb next year. Next trip I will be on a breather. Did I tell you the cave was big?
Thanks to Chip and Dani for hosting and thanks to Bill O. For inviting me on the trip. Great opportunity to hang out with the Hire's from Dive Rite, Bill and Diane, Ken and Ken S, Hydro Dave, Travis, Judy and the rest of the group.
