At least two agencies and many cave owners (in Florida) claim open water divers can go in the cavern. Will they back the instructor that does this? Nope. Guess what! the standard was intended for Mexico. Try it in the USA and your toast! Bottom line is lawyers.

Wait, weren't you asking (in the last few months) for gear selection? Why would you be qualified to instruct or lead dives in caves you weren't sure about diving a few months ago?
as far as the website, the huge white textbox with very little text spattered over an image of a cave is not particularly aesthetically pleasing.
edit: Just saw the title. I would add some experience.
Yeah it is funny because some of you are basically saying that even with training, people are basically not ready to do something that have been trained to do.
Makes no sense.
If you are trained, you are trained, and you should be ready.
If you are not ready, then it is probably on the instructor for passing you when you were not ready.
You would trust a trained GP right? So why not a trained cave diver?
Usually a lack of trust of others comes from an insecurity about yourself, which makes me wonder just how "good" some of you are?!
I don't argue with people on the internet. Sorry dude, I have things to do.
