    HaHa, I don't think so. Bil Phillips made the REM shown in my previous post for me by hand in his garage nearly a decade ago.

    That's really interesting and great to know. I was told, by a cave instructor in Mexico, to treat all arrows and REMs as permanent and accurate. I disagreed, he told me I didn't have enough dives to know what I was taking about. He said all REMs pointed long-end towards exit. My plan has been to treat them as cookies no matter what and only truly trust my own markers. It will continue to be so....but it makes me wonder what this guy taught his students. He also yelled at me for turning my dive a couple hundred pounds short of thirds without telling him before the dive.....so I guess I should've taken everything he said with a grain of salt.

    Yeah. I'm lucky he wasn't MY instructor but just a guide. A good friend did stage training with him and got AWFUL training.....to the point that he retook the course elsewhere. I decided he wasn't worth my time, so I rolled my eyes and kept moving when he yelled at me for turning at 2200psi. I should've known.....
