Remember Current Problems will be helping Ichetucknee Springs State Park with the removal of water lettuce plants again this coming Saturday, May 30th. Please consider joining us. We will have a few canoes to use (I think 6), but we encourage people to bring their own canoe or kayak, too. Because tubing season started this past weekend, we must wait until they are all downstream before we start work. This means we will meet at the north entrance canoe launch at 12:30. Please try to be on time. Wear appropriate footwear and whatever type of clothing or swim wear you prefer. A hat is good, too, along with some sunscreen. Bring anything along that you want to eat and drink. We will work 2-3 hours, although you may leave whenever you wish. I’m hoping to hear from some of you, but please let me hear from you by Friday noon, if at all possible. When you get to the gate at the north entrance, tell the attendant you are there to help with the water lettuce and you will not be charged entrance.
Hope you can come!
