Anyone ever needed their spare mask underwater?

Many people don't realize that in Florida it is illegal to dive within 100 feet of a "working pier." But you can dive a jetty, which, where I live at least, has more people fishing off it than a pier.

English is not my native language, so I did a Google image search for jetty and pier. Which revealed identical images. Doh! Anyway, this was in Norway, and the pier (jetty?) is only used by people fishing, if anything. It's next to a dive center, so they should know that bubbles aren't made by farting fish.

I've had my share of encounters with fish hooks, but none of them have taken my mask.

A friend of mine got hooked in the nose. Luckily the hook only got stuck in the mask, and not in the face :-O
