    Sheesh.
I'm sure there is very little chance of integration.

I'd be very careful with that, during a full moon he may turn into a tec diver...

BTW -- Tim, the NAUI standard is "100 fsw". That's 104' if your computer is set for freshwater, this point was stressed to me by my CD when I did the NAUI cave 1 instructor course.
and that could easily fall into a percentage of error by the dive computer.... what is the +- variation on an average dive computer?

    Tim

Why yes that was me in shorts and a t-shirt oops, a drysuit @ the 700' marker

depends on your computer, but most depth sensors are accurate +_1ft, difference is what they are calibrated for which is why it is important to kindly inform it when you switch from salt to fresh.

+/-% variation on a dive computer?!?!?

Just dive Ginnie. Unless the water level is up, it's really hard to pass 100' in C1 range and if you did accidentally, I don't think anyone on CDF would castigate you for it! (Really!). It *is* possible to overthink this stuff. Have fun, be safe, just plan your dive, dive your plan, and keep an eye on your depth gauge along with your gas.

    Even easier.

Plan your dive. Dive your dive. Log your plan.

We dove ginnie in my Naui c1 class.

Just go do it. It sounds like you're trying to find some technicality so you can talk yourself out of doing it. If you don't wanna do it then just don't do it and stop beating around the bush.

Flow's not some big scary monster. The water moves...so what? Get on with your life.
