I've been trying to come up to cave country for a while and finally have a chance this coming weekend (14-17), if its closing now, it likely won't be open by then right?

yeah we were hoping to get down there by the end of the month.... any forecasts on when it might be open and relatively clear this month?
The problem with cave diving in the late winter/spring is it is a crap shoot at best. We had several years of drought and got used to things being divable all the time,but what we are experiencing now is normal, and from what I am understanding normal will be around for awhile. Best advice to people planning trips around this time, have a plan B ready.
