Default Why is nobody selling their OMS SLIPSTREAMS??!!

Hi guys I was wondering. Why is it so hard to find a pair of oms slipstreams for sale anywhere. Are they that good a fin aside from being discontinued? I know they are almost neutral and good for wet diving. How about for dry? Details on why this is. Thanks guys.

It's likely because people love theirs and don't want to give them up combined with the fact they're off the market. Who's to say DUI doesn't futz around and change them in some way?

That's what I was hearing. That they might not
    Be the same.

there were considerably less of them made than jet fins, jet fins are great for backmount but not so hot for sidemount, with sidemount become so mainstream, the slipstreams are one of the preferred fins, so no reason to let them go, pretty simple, same reason you almost never see LP85's for sale

For me, they were the right weight and the foot pocket was the perfect size for my turbo soles or ice boots if I was diving wet. Others may dislike them for same reasons I liked them - simply the right tool for the job for me.

They are popular and haven't been made for a while.

What else is there to understand?

All I know is, after I lost one in the river walking to a cave I'm VERY excited that I picked up a pair off of here on the supa-cheap! I happily paid asking price!

Roderick what size are you looking for. Even though I just bought mine I found another add on craigslist for xxl unused slipstreams with spring straps for I think $120. If your interested send send me your email or email me direct at cogden20@gmail.com and I'll send you the link.
