victor, the restriction i refer to is the badly mangled clay one. i had to unclip my stage to get through. not far after i got to the antler and went upstairs to 50' range and dove that fissure. To turn around, u almost have to go vertical, 180, and drop back down to trim. 3 giants in that tunnel would definitely suck

Haha, that's what I thought all around. The buddy "ahead" of me turned around alright, actually. He found a spot just wide enough and found a little groove for his fintips. Fit like a GLOVE. I had to go vertical. NOT "proper cave trim".....but I'm glad I'm not admitting that in public . And yeah, 3 of us in there was zero fun on the way out.

Regardless, I'm glad you had a great time! I need to do the opposite soon and spend a good, long weekend (at least) in the Peninsula. I've got 2 dives in Peacock and 2 in Madison. Zero in Cow, Jug, LR, Ginnie, etc.

    Garth…

'when submerging again I find myself a few feet away from my sudden death by shark attack! Holy Sh*$, oh wait it's just a 4' carp.'

It was a great trip. I saw that carp but it was at least 6' long (Andy will concur).

I didn't have the required two yard sticks to confirm the length but it surely would have eaten me if it was hungry..

If you want to see some funny redneck quarry diving check out my youtube account..

A couple of months ago I almost hit one that was crusing the surface. That same day four of them in front of Hole in the Wall. They get that big because they have no natural predators in that enviroment, other than man.

Glad I haven't run in to them in Hole. The catfish make enough of a mess in there. John needs to get to spearing those buggers.

The carp are genetically modified to be sterile, and were added to eat the grass...problem is, when they get older, they stop eating grass and start eating small fish...so, oops I guess.
