SS for me ...
I don't know much about DPV's, but being able to get it serviced locally would be a big seller for me.
Suex. Hands down. But go ride them both and decide for yourself.
SS, but depending on how much use you're going to get out of it, the LiFe might be worth looking at for cost of ownership. Having the thing made less than an hour from you makes it much easier should it need service....
Suex.
Iirc the viper uses a mako style ceramic shaft seal, a trigger wire of some sort, and might have an adjustable prop. Those three things are huge weak points.
Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong about that.
You're in Boynton? The only choice is the SS
not sure about the seal and trigger, you'd have to ask Rodney *I think the venom controller isn't a wire as it is electronically controlled*, but you can ditch the adjustable prop for the solid aluminum prop with the venom controller. It may be worth considering the Minnus 1.5 now that the transmission is being replaced with the helical cut gears and you can get the vortex controller which is SWEET!
The Vortex controller is the bomb. I LOVE MINE.
I'm pretty sure there's still a wire from the handle to the magnetic switch. I've never had one break. In fact, none of the concerns mentioned above have been an issue for me.
there is a local person here in my area that is a dealer for suex
