    Cool, thanks.

This affects only PST 3442 tanks, of all sizes?
I have a pair 100's 3442, XS Scuba branded, I believe those are Worthingtons, right? Will check when I get home

I believe the only tanks impacted are the E series 3442 PSI, like E7-100 or E8-130. Look for the DOT-E 9791 exemption number. It is this exemption that will expire on 01/31, nothing else.

Yes, any DOT-3AA PST tank is fine.

Does this affect the Worthington 3442 tanks as well or just PST?

Probably not. It isn't the pressure that is the issue, it is PST failing to renew their permit.

The tanks permit will expire on the anniversary date Feb28) .A current hydro will not be valid beyond the permit expiration date unless there is a pending renewal application. At the time of this writing, no pending renewals are listed.

    Worthington has a pending approval,
PST does not. They were supposed to have the application submitted 60 days before the expiration . Even if they submitted today, there would be a lapse in certification which means that until it is approved, the tanks would be out of service...

This is just wonderful! I understand that PST has been out of business for some time unfortunately but there is a fair number of their E-series cylinders in circulation that are perfectly good. Does anybody have any insight into why they are not renewing the permit or why they are dragging their feet?
