LOL. You forgot to me that there is a nominal per incident fee commensurate with the 3rd party fees incurred...paid direct to said 3rd by you the diver.

Maybe check into accidental insurance through your health care provider? I was skeptical since most health insurance companies won't even look at you if you mention scuba, let alone cave diving. I called my rep and they offer an additional policy you can opt into for "risky behavior," ie. skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba. Talk about an awkward coversation to have on speaker phone in front of HR when they kept refering to me as taking part in risky behavior .

I would like to think that another diver would give you a lift at least to the nearest EMT station or call them for you. Unless of course you are diving with a certain notable old timer that has a tunnel named after him in Eagles Nest. He has been known to leave his buddy writhing in pain at the dive site parking lot.......
