Well the ear nose and throat Doc said it is fine to put the ear drops in to kill the bacteria in the ears but when you use the ear drops they dry out the ear drums and wear off the membrane that is around the bone of the ear drum and your ear drum needs to be lubricated so he recomended the docs pro plugs with the vents for diving he says that the water trasfer in in ear drum from the spring water being colder your ear drum has to warm it up thus wearing the membrane on the ear drum down but if I was to use the docs pro plugs that it would keep the transfer of water to a minimum and I have not had a problem with my ears since I followed his instructions and the doc is a deep wreck diver also.

I think this is the longest sentance I have ever seen!
