300 steak knives for $168, sounds like your kind of deal.

That is what I use. I tend to loose them when laying line in low viz caves. I think I have lost about a dozen over the past 40 years.

Been cave diving since 2002 and I still own my 1.99 steak knife. The sheath was the most expensive.

Have lost my shirt buying dive equipment.

Have been accused of losing my marbles going cave diving.

    Still have my original knife.

Big thanks to Pete McCumber for finding my knife and getting it back to me.

    Top notch.

I can't take all the credit. It was actually my dive buddies who found it.

Great to hear! I always love hearing when people get their gear back because it's always a bummer when you realize you have lost something.

A person I know keeps finding broken equipment lying on the cave floor and reports that he recalls thinking.. "Somebody must have had a bad day." One time he he found a second stage that had fallen apart and lay scattered on the ground. He picked it up and showed his dive buddy who pointed to his bailout... It turns out it was his.

    Ironic.

I still think we should have just scratched off the AJ and kept the knife...

LOL.... that's funny Jen. It was a really nice knife, but the Halcyon logo was laser etched in. It would have been harder to remove.
