Some of you have seen the initial dive shop announcement which was the purchase of a building which has two in-ground pools. What makes it unique is the depth as each one is 25' deep. The second announcement we can't make yet but does have to do with a new dive site in very close proximity to Ft.Wayne. The leads we have had haven't panned out to match the information we were given on depth and clarity. Well, there was one that is 285' deep but had some issues linked to it...and the vis was absolutely horrible, so we continue to search others.

...you may recall from my first post that I indicated this isn't as sexy of an announcement as having a private cave to play in but for around here, it will serve as a great place to keep the skill set dialed in without having to cut holes in the ice every week. And for those of us that would practice every day, this is a big deal.

When the announcement for the new dive site is ready to be made I will post some info here for those in this area. We have a few more leads and I merely need to dive them and see if they will work out...or find out if they are like the others with only inches of vis.
