    No Problem

Being as I am currently in the prototype phase of producing a new canister light style, I can tell you right now, that is the best price you are going to find for a single bulb. There is a company in the far east that is selling knock offs at a much lower price but you should be prepared to buy them in bulk to keep up with how often you will replace the dead bulbs.

If you can let me know how everything works out with this.

And vacum sealing is nowhere near overkill.
Just do what I did, I had pelican custom make this setup just for my HID.
The only down side is that the people running the gate at GS hate me.

You guys better watch out for the mods. on here they will delete your post for breaking the rules using names of products and names of retail dealers. Shame on you guys.

I definitely meant to use the generic term "Duct Tape" as opposed to the name brand "Duck Tape" Oops...I meant D### Tape. That was a typo.
That is a very nice HID transport you have there Gibby.
I may have an unspecified company make one for me as well but with the optional Mini-gun and T.O.W. Missile launcher. (Generic Military nomenclature.)
I probably won't order a replacement bulb until after this upcoming non-denominational seasonal gift exchanging event. If all goes well with the order I'm now at a loss as to how spread the word about how it turned out.
I'm really just being a Wiseinheimer and in no way intended to usurp the rules of the Forum. The "Mods" have been cool about it so I don't know if we overstepped our bounds or not. I shall comply with whatever the rules are. A long lived Cave Diver follows "The Rules".
Thanks for the great info and letting me vent a little.

The rule you refer to is only about cave diving businesses, not bulb suppliers

Yes I understand that but when you say things like well Larry laughed and just slamed his Salvo light in the picnic table and it fired up. My next is going to be a Salvo then I think that alot of post have been pulled for the same thing and I do not care but is brow bashing any other company's light saying that Salvo is much better than any other. I am just saying what is fair is fair guys and you can't just mod. the ones that offend the Mods. it has to be fair all the way around. Like I said I do not care I was just joking anyway. I think that if it is because of solicitation then they need to get rid of the gear exchange also. But thats just my view on things and who am I to say anything about what goes on with this forum.

Im new to this Forum as far as posting but I've been reading all of your posts for going on 2 years now. I can see Jammer's point because it does seem that there is some inequity with what get's allowed and what gets deleted. I mean no offense whatsoever to the Mods as these things can come down to individual perspective and I don't personally believe that there is any intentional favoritism. Rule # 2 states "No posting of messages intended "SOLELY" for solicitation.
I suppose it's possible that telling about how tough you noticed a particular brand of light seemed to be could be a sneaky solicitation but in this case I doubt it. None of the posts in this thread would qualify as "SOLELY" for solicitation in my opinion. Just Cave Divers helping out Cave Divers with specific info.
On another note, Why would anybody slam around a $1000.00 light just to prove a point? Especially prior to a Cave Dive. I don't care who makes it. If you kick it around enough somethings going to break. Maybe it was a Demo Model Heh,Heh,Heh.

Well, I have had my 21w salvo in the back of my truck. It shifted during transport and I did not know it. I opened the back of my truck and WHACK! the lighthead hit the ground. My buddy gasped. I simply smiled and said "thank goodness its a salvo" and we went on to gearing up. Just as I was about to walk down the the water, I turned it on and it fired up just fine, like always... If it had been my unnamed other light (10w MR11), I would have gasped because that spill would have cost $100.

That's why... Proof that it can handle the abuse that it may encounter...
