Default Roubidoux is pushed longer yet again..

Yesterday the OCDA once again extended the line in Roub. We were onsite from 6:30 am to 1:30 am. Exploration team conducted a 15 hr dive and successfully spooled of 1200' feet of line, then reverse surveyed on exit. We haven't compiled the survey data yet, but the system will now be over 11,000 feet! And the passage is large and going strong.

We did pull the safeties in anticipation of winter weather, thus shutting down exploration for this season. It's been a great year for gaining ground on the Roubidoux system. The City of Waynesville deserves major kudos for allowing us to conduct these exploration dives, which requires us to be onsite well past the normal park hours. We'd also like to thank all our comrades in the cave diving world who continually cheer us on and provide encouragement.

Now, hopefully, we can commence to putting that new map together!

    Merry Christmas!

Wow, that sounds like A LOT of soup runs
Amazing that the known system has just about doubled in a couple of years.
Nice job to the team and supporters!

Will there be a trade in value offered on the old maps? I feel cheated now that over 5k feet is missing off the one I just bought!

    Chris?!

Oh, and impressive work up there, gentlemen!
