I was able to get in three dives this weekend and thought I'd give a short conditions report for the 18th and 19th.
Water Hole (coming from P1) - Vis was very nice in the 40-50 plus range at the start of the dive but got progressively worse as we went in (and no we didn't cause it). By the time we turned the dive somewhere around 100' from the Waterhole side, the vis was down to 10' and you couldn't clearly seen the passage walls. Not sure what caused the mess, but I have never seen it like this.
Cow - Just beautiful. The flow and siphon were pretty solid. We did both downstream and upstream. Did downstream first and then revised our plan for a "light" late afternoon dive to a longer full bodied dive. Liked the new walking path location. Didn't get back to Dive Outpost till 8:30. Then dinner at the Dowling House in Live Oak.
Madison - First off, the new tank ranks are outstanding. We especially loved the spigot to clean off our boots! We went in at Martz and went up the main line to around 1450'. Flow was about average or just a touch less. We turned the dive at the Drop off and them jumped over onto the. Mount Offshoot before we made our way out. Vis was outstanding - just a perfect dive. We didn't see anybody in the cave, but I think that there may have been 1 or 2 groups in the main basin.
