Judi's Condition

Does anyone know if Judi is doing any better ?

I pm'ed the person that gave us the last update on her and they said that they would look into it. But I hope she is home for the holidays and doing great.

If anyone knows please post a report.

She is doing well at Tampa General. She is aware of who is around her and where she is. She easly identifys the people she has worked with at the hospital as they walk by or stop in. Talking is difficult but understandable, lack of practice and the trach tube is still in the way. She still spends most of her time sleeping and healing. Rudy never leaves. She did ask the director of nursing if she can keep her old job. She is still a sick girl But ... She identified my wife by name and then me by calling me by my dogs name. Hmmm still a sense of humor.

She has been complaining (a lot) about being hungry all the time, she even asked Rudy to remove a set of foam earplugs from the room because she was seriously thinking of eating them. She has now been certified for real food... off of the tube goo! That was the 28th. She is a much happier camper.

This is so awesome; whenever she comes to Gainesville I will be glad to have some Greek dish for her.

It's been awhile since the last progress report.
How is Judy and Rudy doing?

I hope that improvements are still coming daily and that a full return to health will eventually result.
I wish them the very best in this holiday season, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
