Default WTB Old Steel Unusable Tanks / failed hydro

Hi. If you have any old steel tanks that are no longer usable and you want to sell cheap, I will buy. I am in the Washington DC area. I am using them to make wind chimes! I will also buy other steel tanks such as old welding or CO2 tanks. Email me at Glen@carbonindustrial.com or can text me at 703.898.4428. I don't usually answer calls that I don't recognize so therefore text is better than a phone call. Thanks, Glen

I got skunked on a deal for a pair of LP 95s by a member on this forum (jsteedley). When I pulled the valves off, they were each filled with a cup of (probably salt) water, were rusted to hell, and pitted pretty badly. He talked me into having them tumbled but I still would have failed them because they were so pitted.

Are you near Tallahassee? I moved to Minnesota, but I think I left those giant paper weights with my buddy there or in Melbourne - I'll have to see if they still have 'em.

Great idea! Thanks for the picture. Might need some porch reinforcing for some of those steel tanks though

Any reason you guys are after steel instead of AL tanks for these projects? Just curious.

Steel makes a better bell, aluminums just doesn't ring as well.
