In the distant past phosphate mining was done around Peacock area. Lets home that demand doesn't drive the desire to look for alternate sites for mining. We all have to eat,hence we can't be anti-agricultural,but where the people in the Lake Erie lost drinking water,I have a lot of concern for the amount of tree farm areas north of Peacock that have recently been converted to row crops. This is in the Peacock recharge area,which may result in a future increase in nutrient loading.
