    Default Update- Emerald project

$990.00 was raised over this past weekend from the Dive Rite gift certificate raffle at the NACD Seminar. Many thanks to Lamar Hires and Dive Rite for their generosity in donating both certificates and the finger spools. Dive Rite, to date, is the only equipment manufacturer who has donated funds.

The CDS, at their weekend Board meeting, approved the donation of $1,000.00 to the effort. The NACD and NSS-CDS are, to date, the only two training agencies which have donated funds.

Total funds collected at this point are approximately $7,200.00. I will receive an accurate update from Sandy Cook once she has the opportunity to collect the latest donations.

Thank you all and let's finish this phase of the project as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update Johnny.. If any of you out there have not given yet, please open up those checkbooks and give GENEROUSLY! We can all make this happen sooner rather than later. It's be nice if we could all create a surplus of funds that could be used for site improvements as they are encountered and needed elsewhere and/or for other sites as they are opened.

A big thanks to the 2 agencies and Dive-Rite too!

    Default Emerald Project funding

GUE, NAUI, TDI and IANTD were all solicited for donations. Yesterday I received an e-mail from Brian Carney of TDI indicating that agency would be making a donation.

    Default Emerald funding

The Emerald Project fund now stands at $7,485.00 of the $8,000.00 required for cost of materials. Barry Miller and Salvo have just donated $600.00 bringing the fund closer to its goal.

Sandra Cook requested a larger set of platform and step plans for submission to Wakulla County in preparation for issuance of a building permit. Vince Ferris will forward those to Ms. Cook.

If you have not donated yet, please do so. Any amount will help.

    Thank you.
