Sidemounting LP 50s

I dive LP45s in SM all the time. Very comfortable and can fit through small cracks. Great for checking out a cave to find out if it goes. Also used those slightly overfilled for some cave projects that have extensive dry caving before the sump where I don't want to haul 85s or a rebreather till I know if it goes.

I use them the same way. Way easier on the Sherpas than having them carry the big bombers only to find out in five min that it is a no go.

A pair of sidemounted 50's for a PADI instructor in class is yet another example of a bad example to follow for some unfortunately ignorant impressionable new divers. Hopefully, the divemaster in the class is not as dumb as he is looked to more often for advice from the students...



However, if the sidemounted 50's are for fun dives, ignore what is above.

Why do we have to call untrained divers ignorant? Maybe it was a poor choice of words?
