Free for the taking- 1991 Bauer Junior Compressor- needs serious love.

This is for the project minded, but the price is right.

1991 Bauer Junior compressor. 5.5HP Honda motor.

The compressor needs at least a first stage valve replacement, possibly a first and second stage. The interstage water separator was replaced approximately 10 years ago, and is in very good shape, the filter stack is also in good shape, and comes with three new in wrapper (10 months storage) filters from Lawrence Factor (Miami.) The compressor pumped a strong 3 CFM up until about October of last year when the first stage valve plate went bad. The crank bearing did not have abnormal noise or vibration. The Honda motor always started on the first pull, but was getting progressively slower, as the fuel atomizer in the carb got more and more choked up. $50 at a small engine shop for a carb overhaul would likely fix the problem.

It looks like poopoo, and I have taken the sheave for the motor for my new compressor, so you will need to replace that as well.

Jon, it would have, but I have someone local picking it up this weekend, sorry. I am already bringing an expeditions worth of gear (and my new compressor) to convention- it would have been sort of a pain in the butt.

Thanks for the interest folks, looks like this compressor is spoken for. Keep an eye out, I have an old Utilus in very similar condition that will go up next week.

No worries. Is was at least worth asking. I'll eventually get a portable compressor.
