I was at Ginnie yesterday and a guy approaches us asking where we get our gas; I said Wayne's.

He then gives us a couple of business/voucher cards indicating a $10 gas credit each and we should give them a try.

Today I tried to use said voucher and was told to try tomorrow as the guy at the counter didn't know how to deal them. Upon stating it was our last day diving and tomorrow didn't work, he said the cards were no good as they had not been signed. He the intimidated that the guy giving them out would soon not work at the shop in question.

My thoughts about giving away vouchers that don't count for jack, and short/hot fills are below.

Business 101: Make sure one hand knows what the other is doing-if you create a policy or change make sure everyone knows about it and how to deal with it.

Quickest way to gain a new client is with excellent customer service. The quickest way to lose 10 more just by word of mouth is bad customer service.

The picture was removed at the OP's request. I believe the issue has been sorted out, more or less. Although I do feel sorry for the poor soul who has to remove the card from the "Kohler". I hope that'll be the same person who handed out the card without signing it and not some innocent bystander
