    Default Blue grotto cave

I dove this cave the day after the NSS/CDS Workshop. Blue Grotto was gracious enough to discount the entrance fee and cave dive 50% so I took advantage of it. The cave is small in length, approx. 300 ft., and silty. Not a "breath taking" dive but different. It is very shallow and dark walls. The video was taken by my dive buddy on his Go Pro. I did not take a camera in but was glad we got some footage.
So tired of diving Catfish and Ginnie that this was a good break. I must admit, the park at Blue Grotto is much improved. I put it on YouTube Tried to copy the post but it would not come up. Will try again and post the link later. http://youtu.be/B3edM0x-yxY

I'm sure it's nice but have a hard time getting my arms around paying entrance and guide fee for a 300 ft cave unless it is so amazing it has the potential to grace the cover of NatGeo. For those who have been there was it worth it to you?

Went in 99 or 2000. Cool, but....

    I wouldn't think it's worth a guide fee. But that's me. I'm cheap.

I dove it on sunday morning as well. It was worth doing once. Thanks to the cds for setting it up and thanks to the guides for your time.

Like I said, for a half price it was OK. I have now done it but will not do it again. The guide is for insurance purposes since it is privately owned.
