Please, anyone familiar with the tunnels off the T's, I would appreciate it if you would post or respond by PM, as you see fit, with any specific information or suggested route(s). My buddy has been there a couple of time, doing mainline only, and my first time will be in the morning (Memorial Day). Even if you don't see this until after our dive, I'm sure I'll be going back. Any help appreciated.

You might want to check the level of the Chipola before you go. The last time we went the level was a little over 11 ft and we had maybe 20 ft of visibility. It's best done at lower water levels. Matachuck however is crystal clear. According to Edd it never goes bad no matter how high the Chipola gets. It's a pretty cave. I highly suggest seeing it.

Thanks Tracy and Kevin L. If we go, I'll post a report for anyone interested. Cautions about river level already received and considered. If anyone has info on the tunnels, it would still be appreciated, for now and for the future.

From what I remeber none of the T's go really far. Some of them just loop back onto the main line. It's definitely a really cool cave. I still have not been to the end of the line. Edd told me there was about 4000' feet of line. Has your buddy been past the crack on the main line? If not I would do that as it's one of my favorite parts. Beautiful cave and one of my favorites. Do you have a boat? If you do there are some cool dives in the area.

Most important may be the tree blocking the full width of the spring run from boat passage. Bamafan, I'm not sure whether my buddy is sure whether he's been past the crack on the main line and one piece of info I received said off the first T to the left there is a deeper section to about 130'. Other dives in the area are also on the agenda.
