    Default WTB Sidemount Rig

So im looking to get my feet wet in the word of sidemount diving to eventually move to cave in sidemount. with that said im looking to see if any one has a sidemount rig that they would be willing to sell for cheap. i dont plan on diving with anything heavier then a pair of 95s so i would like to try and get one that does not have such a monstrous wing or air cell.

    can anyone help me out?

I would look at Mike's monad above. Edd bungees the wing down so they are not so big. I don't know what exactly you are wanting but if it's a razor type rig I don't think you will like it with steel tanks. Edd's modified sms 100 are about the same size or smaller than an sms 75.

I was looking for something to use with al80 and on some occasions my 98s in drysuit. Had the sms 50 in mind.

The SMS50 is a pretty bad SM rig. I honestly can say I can't recommend it. With an Old School bungee, and if you modify it into a one-piece harness, it can be fairly usable....it's just not worth the work. With 98s, you'll be SERIOUSLY lacking lift. I can't recommend it for anything other than AL80s in warm, salt water.....even with the mods. mbaker's Edd-mad might be your best cheap solution.
