If the Millpond floods it's time to look for an ark. The Millpond is controlled by a dam. Also several of the river caves in that area pump so hard that they are actually better in a flood. It just takes a boat to get to them.
If by diveable you mean good vis? Yup. If by diveable you mean less of a fire hydrant? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.................. .......no.
Jokes aside, the JB flow last weekend was truly atrocious. It's gotten worse since the Anti-Social. I cant imagine POSSIBLY swimming past the deco room without some pull-and-glide action going on. Once you get past the chimney, it's a lot of swimming but not insufferable.
Victor, JB flow isn't that bad. You just have to know where to swim to get out of the flow. It's less than Ginnie in my opinion.
Victor, in the deco room, just stick to the right and stay low behind the big rock. Once you get to that rock, pull yourself down past it and stay all the way to the right in the big cavern.
Down into the main passage below the chimney, try to stick to the ceiling and to the left or right, whichever side you prefer or whatever works for you..
The flow really picks up after the second breakdown. I found what works best is to go way right into the low stuff.
After the first T, the flow becomes much less of a hassle.
Hey Guys, what about Peacock!! - looks like some of the way upriver gauges have peaked/crested but still a bunch of water headed downriver. Looks like Peacock will rise for a few more days.
Any first hand reports - is it getting dark again? It was clearing up a few days ago.
