The flow really picks up after the second breakdown. I found what works best is to go way right into the low stuff.
After the first T, the flow becomes much less of a hassle.
That low area between the second breakdown and the first t kind of sucks in high flow though. Theres nothing to pull on on the floor and a couple times I just gave up there. In the past I've stayed near the ceiling and occassionally reached above my head to pull but I'm not a fan of that at all because theres really no way to find a sacrificial spot that has already been pulled on 100 times.

Yes that section is particularly bad. I haven't tried it yet but I'm wondering if you stay as far as you can to the left side of the passage if it would be any better. I know up to that point after dropping down the chimney you immediately get as close as you can to the right side of the cave and stay there and the flow is significantly less.

Tracy your perception is off after last weekend.

LoL! You do have a point Eric. That was some flow! By the way Edd is going to cut up your cave card because you couldn't get into Heidi Hole. My card is safe since I made it into Ebro!

I guess I am the one in the hot seat now.

Actually all the way to the right, in the really low part, I always felt somewhat shielded from the flow, at least until about 100' or so before the first T.
I have to admit, getting out of that part back into the main tunnel is a different story, but crossing over to the left side and looking for cover may help.
Flow-wise, it''s certainly one of the most interesting parts of the cave.

Looks like the water levels are going higher than the first reversal.
Gauge is at 32.71 and rising

Any guesses based on the water level when they might reopen? Or too hard to say at this point?

Maybe awhile. The gauges haven't crested from what I see. There are some current pictures of Peacock on the NFSA Facebook page.

Anyone care to post some of the pictures here?
