    Default Cave Instructor-Larry Babcock

Made my 1st go at Cavern/Cave with Larry Babcock-Aquatech Evansville, IN. After years of diving found the caves of FL to be an amazing environment (unique, beautiful and demanding). Came back home before I realized how much I had learned. Larry is a awesome instructor that is very demanding for a demanding environment Looking forward to Full Cave!!!

Congrats! I see you're in Louisville. There's quite a few cave divers up here in Lexington if you're looking for fellow cave divers. Me along with a two others I know are doing our cavern/intro in May. Really looking forward to it.

There's several of us also in the Owensboro/ Evansville area too! Larry is one of the most thorough instructors I've seen. It took me some time to reach Full Cave, but when I did, I was very well prepared for the environment. My next step,.... CCR Cave with Larry!

Great. It is a challenge but you should have fun with it. spend a fair amount of time on weekends at Hopkinsville and Falling Rock so don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need a partner

I pretty much live at the quarry in Hopkinsville during the summer, teaching.... but afterwards, I'm always up for some fun dives!

I've honestly haven't had the chance to make it out to Pennyroyal. I started diving in May last year and spent most of my time at the quarry in La Grange (Falling Rock Park). My dive shop doesn't plan to use said quarry much this year so I'm looking forward to my first visit to Pennyroyal. I've heard nothing but good things. I was also told they're going to be able to fill fbaks, have rest rooms and showers as well.

The staff at Pennyroyal are working on those projects,... but don't hold your breath on it being completed anytime soon. It was supposed to be done last spring. They rely on volunteers a lot & getting reliable help can be tough. If I'm ever there when you are, look me up, I'll be happy to show you around. I probably have 600+ dives in that quarry.

They have great rest restrooms. Flushless so they meet the eco-trendy requirement. Low energy ventilation. Very blue. They even have one at 20' for use during deco.
