It's bad luck to be superstitious.
I dropped by Troy and Little River yesterday before going to Ginnie. Both are still flooded of course, with the water at Troy still on the ramp, and the LR parking lot still under water. Ginnie is a few feet deeper, with tannic water about 10ft into the Ear, just about to the log.
As of 5pm 11/1, Peacock is pumping like I've never seen before!!! Water still very tannic but at least it's not muddy.
OG, the lower landing is out of the water, still black water but the duckweed is moving away from the vent. I saw no obvious boil.
Telford has dropped significantly since I last visited two days ago. There is a sustained boil now (last couple days it was there then not). Still pretty ugly but a huge improvement from just a couple days ago but don’t look to dive it anytime soon.
I'm hearing rumors that the powers to be might request the line committee to send a team into Peacock soon to evaluate. We all hope that we can dive it by the weekend...NOTHING SUBSTANCIAL but it's early in the week. I'm sure our PSSP friend Janet will post something soon one way or another. She has the "skinny" with PSSP.
I saw a post about LR conditions yesterday so there was no point in spending an hour going there.
I didn’t get by Cow, last time I was there indicated to me I didn’t need to go again anytime soon.
Hope this helps!!!
Fingers crossed for Peacock this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fer sure, fer sure. Be prepared to post much more attractive reports than these for the Xmas diving extravaganza!Originally Posted by mmcauliffe

WJH--- Doesn't it sound like much of our area that we dive up her with everything but forgetting to mention the cooler water we get to play in?
SLIM
Yup. Cooler water, more difficult accessibility, less crowds.Originally Posted by SLIM
I'm cool with that trade-off.

Guess I should have moved to Missouri near Roubidoux rather than the the cave diving capitol of the world......NOT!Originally Posted by WJH
