    Default Emerald Project funding

$945.00 was raised for the Emerald platform and steps from the Dive Rite gift certificate raffled Saturday at the Cave Excursions' party. I haven't checked with Sandy Cook for an exact amount, but total funds raised to date are in the approximate amount of $3,500.00 toward the $8,000.00 needed.

A second Dive Rite gift certificate ($1,000.00) will be raffled at the NACD Seminar on November 12.

Thanks to all of those who have donated. If you have not done so yet, any amount will help.

    Yours,

    Johnny Richards

All the thanks should go to Bill Rennaker/Cave Excursions and Lamar Hires/Dive Rite for hosting such an awesome party....

....also to Rob, Karen and David for keeping up with the fills all day, the guys from Dive Rite who really had some killer deals on gear that a lot of people took advantage of, cooks John O, John J, Dee and all others who helped out!!

Looked like a great time was had by all, and congratulations to all those that won some great prizes

    Thanks again!!

    Safe diving,

    Rich

    Default Emerald Funds

What is the current amount raised up to, or how much more is needed?

    Default Emerald

Estimate at this point is around the $3,500.00 amount- probably a little more. I plan to call Sandy Cook the end of next week to get an accurate amount. I will call on a reasonable periodic schedule- not every day. Neither she nor I have the time for that.

Once I speak with Ms. Cook, I will advise.

    Thank you,

    Johnny Richards

    Default Emerald Funds

I spoke to Sandy Cook yesterday at 3:42 pm. She said funds continue in
and that the amount raised is approximately $6,000.

I thank Sandy for all of her hard work.

That is good news. There will be another raffle for a D*** R*** gift cerificate at the **** social and workshop, and the last raffle raised a lot of money. Purchasers of a raffle ticket this weekend will get a map of the system. Also the N**-C** have it on their agenda about making a donation.

    Getting close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rule #6 only addresses *opinions* about individuals, or CD businesses/organizations.

It is ok to spell out the name, as long as you don't offer an opinion about the company or person.

Thanks for the assistance. I did get a "slap on the wrist" once because I did mention something that I have used **** to denote. Since I don't know what moderator did the censoring,I have to assume it was their interpretation of rule#6 at the time.
    Thanks
