UPS USPS would cost as much as it does for me to make it. Besides I have to be there to hand it over so that Janet can take possesion of it. She already knows about when I will be down and I will bring it. If they already have one, then it would just be another one to help out in other areas.

Maybe we could contact the local Boy Scouts chapter and let them have at it.... i'm sure there is some sort of merit badge for this sort of thing.

I agree with Charlieo. Being an Eagle scout and former assistant Scoutmaster, I am willing to bet prospective Eagle scouts in your local troop would be eager to take on a project like this.
