The CB area just got hit hard this evening. Even Boiling SPrings off the Piney in Texas County just got hit.

If we can keep it dry for the rest of the next few weeks, might get divable for a true cave diver.

Those attending the CDS Midwest Workshop this year remember to thank Mike Young CEO of KISS for covering the cost for this year's t-shirts.

    Fingers crossed
I signed up for the workshop, with the hope of getting a dive or two in. Without the opportunity for a dive or two a little hard to justify the drive. So hopefully the conditions continue to improve.
Is Friday before the workshop or the Sunday after better for meet up with other divers? Need to decide whether to leave Thursday or wait till Friday.

In the past we dove both Friday and Sunday. I plan on doing both. Roubi on Friday, Cannonball Sunday. Either way I plan on being in Waynesville Wednesday night. If anyone else is available Thursday we can do a check out attempt at Roubi. There's also Mine LaMont. I plan on diving there if nothing else.

Hi, Getting into CB is best done with a scooter from the boat ramp just past the hill parking lot. I have seen divers scooter around from the ramp, tie in at the bottom of the hill and go directly to the cave in times of good vis. There haven't been any times of good vis this year. I don't scooter and always hump the gear down and back up the dreaded hill. Great cardio before a deep dive helps get the old gas exchange working good! We're going to try to check CB out for you guys on Wednesday or Thursday, look here for a report.

If rubidioux is wiped out. I will do mine Lamont Friday also. For those that have never been there it is a must do at least once. It is a civil war era lead mine. Some of the equipment is still there. But dress warm the water is COLD!!!

blessed are the cracked for they let in the light!
