Suwannee River Water Management Needs your help

The Suwannee River Water Management District is looking for survey data for Little River.

In the near future SRWMD will be conducting dye trace testing and having the survey data will assist them with the dye trace testing.

I understand most of us do not have this data. But I'm hoping that you may know person(s) that may.

The best map I know is by Wes Skiles. You might try asking Teri Skiles. The next possible source would be Mike Poucher.

The Wes map is the better map, or maybe it's time to do a re-survey? Getting survey data and maybe doing some radiolocations too would be cool to see. We've got lots of talented divers and lots of talented surveyors in Florida.

If you're going to set traps or dump dye, it's easy to drop a pinger or run a survey at the same time.

Just as a disclaimer, I don't know what the project entails or even if a survey is necessary. I'm just throwing ideas out from afar. Oh, and, if I lived any closer I'd be excited to help with the survey of a cave like LR. I'd even be happy to help build the pingers if I could get someone like BP to help me.

I would assume they already have one good surface location, where the well casing is located. FWIW, The TAG sump diver team has a pinger, and receiver. They just bought 2 of BP's receiver board sets, and 5 pinger boards. If you really want to help, let me know.
